What does it mean when a product is advertised
as “natural” or “organic”?
Natural products are those products using plant-based ingredients as opposed
to synthetic ingredients. Organic products are those products that are produced
in a way that respects our environment without the use of pesticides or other
chemicals or by “processing” practices that can harm the air,
water and soil.

What makes natural skin care products different than “traditional” skin
care products?
Certainly one major difference is the percentage of natural ingredients in
natural skin care products. Skin care products made from natural plant
based ingredients offer skin nourishing, moisturizing and healing properties
depending on the ingredient. Another important difference is that natural
skin care products are very gentle to the skin.
My skin is very sensitive. Can I be sure that natural or organic
products won’t break out my skin?
A product can be completely natural, but one can still have a reaction to a
particular natural ingredient. If your skin is ultra sensitive, it is important
to perform a 24 hour patch test of products with ingredients that you are not
familiar with. Try a touch of the product on the inside of the elbow
for 24 hours.
Is it better to use natural skin care products versus traditional
products?
Using natural skin care products are purely a matter of preference. If
you are interested in products with hydrating, nurturing properties with ingredients
that come from nature and not chemicals, you will be very pleased with our

My skin is extremely dry. What products
can I use to combat dryness?
Products with natural oils/nut oils such as olive oil, sweet almond oil, shea
nut butter,
and other natural oils can help with dry skin. You should also protect your
skin from prolonged sun exposure and water that is too hot, (which can be drying).
What are some of the things that I should be looking for in a facial
care product or regimen?
Products that are designed for a particular skin type make it easy to determine
the right product to buy for your skin type. We also recommend

Most of your products are 100% natural, but I noticed that you carry
a few brands that have some preservatives. Why?
Great question! Most of our products are 100% natural and/or organic. Natural
skin care product manufacturers have debated the pros and cons of preserving
product quality, (preventing spoilage), versus the use of preservatives. Those
few high quality products that contain synthetic preservatives contain a very
small amount. Most of our products use natural ingredients that also
serve as a “natural preservative”. Many customers don’t
have a preference, but those who do can make an educated shopping decision
on our site by reading the ingredients list.
How quickly do your products ship once ordered?
In stock orders received by noon, Eastern time, Monday through Friday typically
ship the same day. In stock orders received after noon, Eastern time,
Monday through Friday typically ship on the next business day. Orders received
over the weekend or on a holiday typically ship on the next business day.
Are your products safe for babies and children?
Barring any specific allergies, our products are gentle and safe for children
and babies.
